Genealogy Workshop for Beginners In-Person
If you have ever wanted to learn more about your family's history, start a family tree, or just find proof that your great-great-great-uncle was the last emperor of a remote island in the arctic, join Our Special Collections Librarian Ron McColl for Genealogy for Beginners.
Ron will hold two sessions, and you can attend either session: October 5th at 1-2 pm or October 6th at 1-2 pm. Don't forget to bring your laptop!
McColl will share some of his own experiences from his pursuit of his ancestors, cover tips for staying organized, discuss some common traps to avoid, and show you how to create and start using your own free Ancestry.com account using University Libraries' subscription.
