🍽️ What: Enjoy FREE SAMPLES of autumn harvest themed historical recipes by solving a series of riddles based on rare books, documents, and photographs only found within Special Collections!

This event will be an opportunity to view items from our collections that reflect the spirit of Thanksgiving and the autumn season as it has been celebrated throughout history here at West Chester University. By viewing the different collections and solving puzzles based on them, you will gain access to a mini-banquet where you can try free samples of some of the delicious recipes found in our collections!

🧩 Open House with a Twist: We're pulling rare items out of the vault for you to see that are all about the autumn harvest season at WCU! Not only will you have the opportunity to learn more about these unique materials, you will be asked to solve a series of puzzles and riddles based around them. Bring your friends to work together on this quest!

πŸͺ Tasty Treats: Solving the puzzles earns you an invite to the mini-banquet, where you can indulge in the tastes and flavors plucked from Special Collections cookbooks, such as gingerbread cookies and autumn soups!
