Progress Through Partnership: Furthering the Legacy of Senator Dr. Andrew Dinniman In-Person
The Friends of the Libraries cordially invite you to our celebration of the acquisition of the Dr. Andrew Dinniman Papers
On Tuesday, October 7, University Libraries Special Collections will celebrate the acquisition of the papers of Dr. Andrew Dinniman, former WCU faculty member, Chester County Commissioner, and Pennsylvania State Senator. We hope you will join us for a panel discussion on the issues of food insecurity and homelessness, which Senator Dinniman devoted much time to during his career.
To highlight the work of Dr. Dinniman and his archives, the discussion will focus on the successful model of leveraging university-community partnerships to address important societal issues. We will explore past hunger and homelessness initiatives as well as discuss the work being done today.
The panel will be followed by a reception with light refreshments to provide an opportunity to meet and learn from others working on similar issues, while affording a space to plan future collaboration.
Moderator: Ron McColl, Special Collections Librarian
