Join us for Presser Night at the Opera, where we will stream Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro from our Medici.TV database is on the big screen in Ware Recital Hall. Filmed at the Staatsoper Berlin in 2021 and conducted by Daniel Barenboim, the production features Elsa Dreisig as Countess Almaviva, Nadine Sierra as Sussana, Emily D’Angelo as Cherubino, and Ricardo Fassi as Figaro. Director Vincent Huguet’s production is set in the late 1980s, giving it a retro ambiance that adds to the natural comedy of the opera. The curtain goes up at 7:00 pm, and we’ll serve refreshments at the intermission. Free and open to the public.
