๐Ÿซ– What: Celebrate International Education Week with us at University Libraries as we bring you Tea & Tales from Around the World! From November 18th-22nd, experience a different international tea each day that captures the warmth, traditions, and unique stories of home across cultures. Swing by the Library Help Desk (2nd Floor, FHG Library) from 3:30-5:00 PM daily to grab a hot cup and discover something new. Organized by the WC University Libraries and partnered with Office of Global Engagement, this event is a flavorful journey that lets you sip your way around the world! ๐ŸŒŽโœจ

Monday: Yerba Mate (South America) ๐Ÿง‰
Gather like friends and family with yerba mate, sipped in one vessel as a gesture of unity (but we have enough cups for you to have your own). Try it like a true cebador, the server who passes it around for all to share.

Tuesday: Moroccan Mint Tea (North Africa) ๐Ÿƒ
Served with a high pour for honored guests, Moroccan mint tea is steeped in tradition and sweetness! It’s known for three rounds: “as gentle as life,” “as strong as love,” and “as bitter as death.”

Wednesday: Noon Chai (Kashmir) ๐Ÿ’—
The beautiful pink of Kashmiri Noon Chai, achieved by adding baking soda, is steeped in cultural gatherings and warm hospitality—perfect for bringing people together!

Thursday: Masala Chai (India) โ˜•
Spiced, rich, and comforting, masala chai has a fascinating history of blending black tea with bold spices. It’s a taste that has traveled far, becoming a global favorite.

Friday: Boba Tea (Taiwan) ๐Ÿง‹
A true trendsetter, boba tea combines milky sweetness with chewy tapioca pearls, making it a fun and flavorful way to kick off the weekend!

Let’s make International Education Week an exploration of taste, culture, and the essence of home. We’ll see you there!
